Kenney Aerial Mapping has five Zeiss P3 Analytical Stereoplotters. Analytical stereoplotters are generally thought to provide slightly higher accuracies than softcopy stereoplotters and we continue to utilize them when the highest levels of accuracy are required for design level mapping.

Since we are using a film diapositive with analytical instruments, the resolution and ability of the operator to positively identify ground features is somewhat better. Visibility in shadows and vegetated areas is also somewhat better compared to observations made from scanned aerial images.
