Kenney Aerial Mapping has six softcopy stereoplotters. Softcopy photogrammetric processes have several advantages over the analytical photogrammetric method. There is a complete digital workflow using scanned aerial images instead of hard copy diapositives. This means that aerotriangulation, map data compilation, map editing and digital orthophotography can be completed on line by the same operator.

Softcopy stereoplotters enable the operator to view the topographic mapping in 3D superimposed over the images, which reduces potential errors of omission and final editing time.
