Project Management and Coordination

Kenney Aerial Mapping, Inc. has maintained our internal management structure for many years. The corporation is headed by three principals, a chairman of the board, a president and vice president, who make all final management decisions for our firm. Our Las Vegas office is headed by a General Manager. The marketing staff is responsible for defining scopes of work, methodologies, man hour estimates, schedules and technical writing. It is their responsibility to obtain enough information from the client to articulate the final goals and deliverables. We have marketing staff in our Phoenix and Las Vegas offices. Our operations manager is in charge of all technical staff and is ultimately responsible for allocating personnel and equipment resources to complete the project. He will act as the project manager and liaison with the client’s staff. Production departments are headed by supervisors who oversee the day to day progress, and are responsible to the operations manager for rates of output and product quality. These departments are:
We design our larger projects so that the clients receive preliminary and sample data early in the project. OUr clients frequently select priority areas for early delivery so that they can complete their tasks more efficiently. Communications to the client reguarding the scope of work and progress reports are normally channeled through our operations manager.
Quality Control
We have a Quality Control supervisor assigned to oversee all products prior to their delivery. This individual assists Kenney Aerial in assuring our client's projects meet, or exceed, the standards in which they were designed as well as being both neat and complete.
